Hi guys i wanna buy a crt monitor of 17'' .Is lg better or viewsonic .I want it for movies and games.So can u help me decide?My budget is 7k max.

i would suggest go for Samsung flat...they have very good 793 series. 3yr and 3months warranty.
I have bought more than 10 for my friends.

Viewsonic LCD-TFT is best coz of low response times.....i dunno about CRT---but SyncMaster is the ole' famous name !!!

What I hear is that Viewsonic monitors are very good quality wise. But everybody used to advise against it since there was practically no service support. But nowadays they are seen at almost every store. Of course I have never used it. So it is preferable that those who use it may comment.
