Retail prices (Pune)
Princo - 17 rs..
Intex - 25 rs..
Moserbaer - 32 rs..

Well I use mostly Intex..and for the IMP media..Moserbaer..

Relevant question indeed, since I have seen and used different blank DVDs and in the cheap ones it is not shown whether -R or +R. But almost all write without errors. But of course we can't say about long term reliability. So, for important uses it will be safer to use branded ones like Sony, Mitsubishi, Moser Bauer etc. But the cheap ones are really cheap. Rs. 12-15 for 16X at Trivandrum and the price is coming down every month.

BTW I think the -R is more compatible with DVD players and hence more popular. I am not very sure and correct me if wrong.
