Disappearance of Recycle Bin icon from the desktop

Surprisingly, I have noticed very recently that from the desktop of my office PC system which is a XP Pro with 128MB Ram and 40GB the icon of Recycle Bin has been disappeared. I could not make it out the reason for this as neither any of the s/w nor any anti-virus scan was made during the recent time. But if I click on the name 'Recycle Bin' which is there on the desktop - the folder opens up readily.
I'd be happy if you please help me about the problem.

hey bro rite clik anywhere on the desktop > go to properties > click desktop tab > customize > select recyclebin . and apply changes ....all done .. now check your desktop
