focus or tracking error

i m getting this error very often while burning dvd's

my config-
P4 1.7
intel d850mv
768 RD RAM
ati radoen 9200 se 128 mb
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4160B with the latest available firmware A306

i had used different medias intex +r,intex -r, dataace -r etc

is it a media problem or dvd rw problem

well 1 more thing i have a moserbaer rw dvd i had written the data many times but i had not recieved any error with this media
i suppose it's a media prob

Well it seems to be a Media problem .... if you give us the error then it would be much better to find out the problem.

sorry but its my mistake, but the error is

@vicky read the post carefully i had already mentioned that i had updated to latest firmware available
@maniax well buddy my brother brought it frm australia for 90A$=Rs3150 a year and a half ago
but i think in india now the price is around Rs.2000-2500
