Default What is torrent site and client ?

Can anyone pls tell me what exaxtly is a torrent site and a torrent client. I don know anything about that guys. THX in advance

ya of course i did dude !! but was unable to get appropriate ans and since i am using net on my PC through GPRS the speed sucks.

So i thought to ask and if someone could help me out with this !!
