As u can see from my signature I got 256 MB of RD-RAM as four 64MB modules in all four of my RAM slots. This is very insufficient for me.So am currently planning to upgrade to 512 MB.But the problem is RD-RAM costs a fortune guys - around 6500/- for 256 MB. My question is - It is known that all RAM slots have to be filled up for RD-RAM as it uses serial data transfer. Can I use a 256 MB module in one slot and 64 MB module in the other three so that I can upgrade the next month or something with another 256 MB module ? Any suggestions would be helpful guys........ Aparajith . S

dude what are you talking about ??? Ofcourse you can install the 256 MB in one slot and the 3 in the other slots. The only thing is that the 256 MB will run on the speeds of the 64 mb thats all. But you will still get 192+256 MB for your system. No hassles. Heres more of a suggestion. RD RAM is no more in existence. Future upgrades will be a nightmare for you. Seriously consider getting a diff mobo and RAM such as the DDR RAMs.
