Default DVD movie on HDD to CD ROM disk?


I have recently copied one of my favourite DVD movie on to my HDD,but the thing is that it has consumed an enormous amount of space. I have a CD writer & not a DVD writer.Can u please suggest in some simple steps how to get this DVD on to a CD ROM disk?

You can compress the DVD to DivX format. Almost the same quality can be retained. ou can have the option of converting the movie to 1,2 or more discs
i have seen many single disc movies of high quality. If the movie runtime is more that 1hr 30mins i suggest you to rip it in more than one CD to retain quality. hang on for some time here, I or Some one else will post full details

you can convert it to DivX or any other format which can be played in a video player. You can use DVD Ripper for ripping it. Its easy to use and is a very small app.

Download Nero 7 and Nero Recode is the Utility which you can use with any DVD Conversion and writing in CD
