Registry Mechanic doesn’t lead you directly to registry errors. This is safer for novices, but inconvenient for those who aren’t. Instead, the program shows the path to the error so you can go there manually (necessary when dealing with resilient spyware).
Registry Mechanic 5.0 lacks an individual undo tool, so you’ll have to restore all your data back to a specific point in time to restore one lost registry item.
