Yes u can rename recycle bin by registry hack, its easy it win98,its possible in win xp but it will rename itself back to recycle bin

FORWINXP

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1757981266-152049171-1417001333-1003\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICac he

on the right hand side select @C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll,-8964

and change its value from recycle bin(default) to any name

For win98,its lot easier and more permanent, but, unfortunately i left win98 long time back am not able to recall the registry hack,so best way it to use the find option.Am dead sure the value resides in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT>CLSID>some key starting with number 64

In regedit nevigate to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\ShellFolder

And in right-side pane, change the value of Attributes to:

50 01 00 20

It'll add an extra option Rename to Recycle Bin!

PS: I hv seen that after applying this trick in Win XP, the added "Rename" option is not visible when we right-click on Recycle Bin! So pressing F2 do the work!

complex????
after giving the exact registry entry u have to modify,u call that complex??
moreover its better to make use of what u have ( namely "registry" ) rather that downloading, and then installing something(namely "tweak UI ")

How to rename Recycle Bin

You can change the name of Recycle Bin desktop icon
1-Click Start menu > Run > and type “regedit (without quotes), to run Windows Registry Editor
2- Find and go to following “HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
3- Change the name "Recycle Bin" to whatever you want

Please Note :Incorrectly editing the registry may severely damage your system.
