There is an option in Profile settings:

Upload Avatar from your machine:

Click on Browse button and give the location on ur Hard disk where u hv stored the image!

Alternatively, U can upload the image on a free host and give the URL in Upload Avatar from a URL:...

just in case still have trouble

first delete ur current image
and then upload the new one
