Sounds frightfully expensive for 30k. That too, you are from Mumbai. I bought almost the same config for a friend of mine 9 months ago, and it costed 28k at the time, and Goa is not the best place for computer hardware.
Also, if you are going in for photoshop, and other DTP software, then I suggest you better go in for 1 Gig of RAM (512x2), preferably transcend. Also, why the 80 GB hard drive? a 160 would be better suited.
Also, is that processor an HT processor? HyperThreading gives good performance in Photoshop. Better still, go in for dual core CPU.

I find AMDs to be very unstable. I've recommended AMD to many of my friends and all of their PCs seem to have problems...Whereas all the intel ones (with the original intel board) are rock steady...

ibrood, which X2 U got, & whats the price
Soham, a 6600GT will help with nothing in Photoshop or illustrator, even a 6200 is enough, just get 128 MB atleast for Illustrator CS2
Your config is good, stable, however, hyperthreading is the key for Photoshop & Illustrator, get atleast a Pentium 4 630 with Intel 915GAV motherboard, remember the GAVL doesn't have PCIe slot for upgrading graphics
Add atleast 1 GB RAM, 512 MB will run out like air when work in illustrator & multiple pages, along with multiple color swatches

I would suggest you to go for at least 1GB RAM and definitely a DVD Writer.... Combo drives are on their way out, and you get a DVD Writer for just a few 100s more...
