how can i undo .scr file association ???

hi !

using some security application, i seem to have, quite some time back,
set .scr files to open with notepad. how can i undo this ? when i click on the screensaver logo, gliberish opens
in notepad !

i tried folder options>file associations, but cudnt find .scr there.

pls help.

If you cant find scr. Then go to new and create new extention as scr.Here click on the advanced tab and u will get a dropdown menu for associated file types and select screen saver.
But my personal opinion is that you are better off opening .scr with notepad rather than giving them ececuting permission.Screen savers are useless programms anyway and most of the virus are sent through .scr docs.
