Default CD Image files. How to burn these images.

Hi,

I have a software which is in the form of 3 files.

adobe.sub
adobe.img
adobe.ccd

Which is the images file here.

Are these files are images files. Then which file should i burn. I think its
adobe.img file.

__________________________________________________ _
For example i ahev heard of images files like

windows.iso

(Here we can nero 6 and open the iso file and burn them
or

windows.bin
windows.cue

here we have to select the cue file and burn them in nero.
__________________________________________________ __

Likewise which file should I select to burn the image in the CD (.sub or .img or .ccd)

how to burn them.

Should I convert them to .iso file.

my another query is many say that without the .cue file the .bin cannot be
written to a CD

can't we use only the .bin file to burn the image or .cue is needed compulsary.
the question came beacuse the .bin file will me in MBs of size and .cue file will be in bytes. but still we use the .cue file to burn the image. why ?

then, Is image file can't be written in CD-RW. i tried many times but after burning nothing is there in CD-RW.

But it works perfectly with CD-R why is that.

Thanx in anticipation
Arsenal.

img file are image files similar to iso or bin files, where in the .sub is a subtitiles file for a movie. There are detailed guides how to incorporate subititles into movie files. try www.videohelp.com
Also if you want to know whats in the .img try loading the .ccd file using Daemon tools. Its a virtual drive creation tool which also has a lot of features.

for .bin files yes you need a cue file to write bin file. The cue file contains information pertaining to the bin file as in terms of size offset bin file name and so on. I saw a link on how to make a cue file from a bin file somewhere will post that later.

Image files are CD image files so I dont think you can write them on a CD-RW as images cannnot be made permanent on CD-RW's. Might be wrong. Dunno.

Default Some additions...

Hi,

icecoolz has provided almost all the info. Here is some more. The first 3 files are made by CloneCD. I have used CloneCD and Alcohol 120% for burning the above mentioned files.

UltraISO is a good tool to convert fromone format to another.

Bye!
