Hey...
You can use IE as ftp client

just u have to give ftp://<your site name>
ex: ftp://www.thinkdigit.com

now it'll ask you user name and password
here just provide ur user name and password..
and now it is ready to use ur sites ftp..
and it shows u like windows explorer style file system..
here u can work as like explorer ie. drag and drop like functions...

thatz all...
common... lets have the fun usin FTP

do this..

ftp://usernameassword@sitename.com (without www)

that's it..you are in..

to create new folder...right click - new - folder

to upload files..drag and drop there

i will suggest using free FTP clients like SmartFTP

regards
Deep

P.S. some server may require passive FTP connection...to enable it in IE..
do this..

tools - internet options - advacned - enable passive ftp

Deep, you are too fast man. I was about to post this when I saw that you have already done it

Anyway besides SmartFTP, WS_FTP LE is also good enough. It is really low on overheads and resources. SmrtFTP does have a fancy interface. Isn't it?

SMart FTP has normal interface i suppose...you can drag and drop files from explorer and all other normal features....

i found it pretty good
