what is the diffrence between meta & beta ????

basically they are greek words


beta is a finalized release of a programme which will be tested further


meta is release of a programme for which further suggestions and improvements can be made,

something like the diff btn opensource and windows

Beta also have got major modifications made in them.

So I cannot see the difference between the 2 .
