nopes no phpbb code for ot but other way to it is that you will have to upload the image to imageshack
there you will get a code for the thumbnail
all you have to do is paste it here and its done

create a small resized copy of the pic you wanna host (of appx 200*280 pixels

host both the images on tiny pic.com

then paste like this :
(this is the original image)[/color]] [img] thumbnail image link(this is the resized image) [/img]

i am using this happily

[img width=100 height=100]http://www.kcl.ac.uk/alumni/images/1980s/1980s_full/Photo%2030.jpg[/img]
well ,i am some what surprised that mr salesh is asking this ? means he is also a computer greek..
an yway i juts noticed that whole html is not working here means
if it was
[img height=100 width=100 ..
must have worked...
so ,as all say ,editing the photo for small size and then getting hosted in free imgspots seems only solution for me i say for me...
beside if we only resize the photo through code the original size of the photo is going to be same and the image load time is going to take long time what ever may be the size...
so though some what time consuming ,i think resizing will do lot of better and will save time of surfer as well....
other wise i think forum need to come with new features ...
by the way i could see typical example of mr bat post
showing destop....

ur tryin to use html tags with bbcode tags
[IMG] is BBcode not HTML
and resising in html doesnt bring the actualy size of the image down .. neither does it bring the size of file down
which is infact the whole point of resizing an image
to make the file small and less than 6kb so even users with slow conection can access the pages without any trouble

well i must confess that bbcode and html code diff was not clear to me ...no it is ...so thanks
i use to think that ,the forum is using modified form of html
so it is [img] rather than<img ok..
and about size i mean the same thing ....

and i think if we do give emhasize to size really ...i thought and had strange idea ..normally we need photo for some occasion or to say some thing ...
normally google has it all ....
and i have noticed a strange tech the google uses the images found are listed in thumb nail so if it helps then if we link there i think size will be small...
but all images cannot be found in google ...
just a partial way if it helps
