Default Sony or Samsung

I am gonna buy DVD writer and I have two options in front of me, The cheaper Samsung (Rs 2900) or Sony (Rs 3400). Both supports Dual Layer. Which one should i buy? Is Sony better than Samsung in reducing reading errors? Plz help me.

Anyday Sony is the best in DVD Writers. Second option should be Liteon... No to Samsung.

My Choice would be LiteON. They make very good Drives. ANyway, never go for Samsung. They do good marketing that's all.

This thing was discussed a lot of times before
Y dont u search b4 posting
All the discussions on the topic rated BENQ as the topmost DVD writer

I myself brought SONY dvd writer.
Frankly speaking i would have happy with Either of the the two
So i decided to go for the cheaper product on that given Day( day when i went to buy it )
Sony was 2700 and Benq 2800 as on 19 dec 05
The model nos i got was SONY DW Q30A

He was giving emphasis to read errors. Considering that aspect I hope somebody will comment on the comparison. Who knows, maybe Samsung wins atleast in that parameter!
