Hi,
Check whether they work in SAFE MODE. If they do, then its a virus problem. Download CWShredder, AboutBuster and GaoBot Removal Tool.

Boot in Safe Mode. Run CWShredder and click "Fix". After this, run AboutBuster and click "Begin Removal". Then run the GaoBot Removal Tool.

Reboot back to normal mode anc check whether the Task Manager works or not.
