IE sp6

I cant open links highlited after search in google window gets stucked with no response, I have cheacked for virus and malwares but are not. what to do?
I am using win98se on pentium can anybody tell me????????????

- add/remove -> ms ie -> repair
- in the google windows u have a preference links at the top or bottom , not sure . click on that and there is an option to open links in new windows . try using it with and without the check option . i think ie6 sp1 is available with one of the mag's cds/dvd
