Default No Net access.....WHat happened?

I usually go to Xp to see if all is working fine. yesterday I tried to access the net...but to my surprise the net was not available. Then I tried to access my 2nd PC from network neighbourhood, But this was also not available. I tried to ping yahoo.com and 2nd pc but it said "destination host unreachable"! I tried to ping my router on 192.168.1.1, but this also said "destination host unreachable". The only that pinged was 127.0.0.1.
I turned off the windows firewall and zonealarm, but same scenario persisted!
I then tried ipconfig /dnsflush,/renew,/release,/all but it didnt show any information.
The net is fully availabe from 2nd pc. Both are direcly connected to net!

What the heck is going on? I tried to google but on solution fetched!
Please suggest me some solution. Thanx in advance!

I know the gateway address should be static...but is there some way to reset the network settings. It seems the network has been jammed! I thought its some virus...so i scanned my pc but found only trojans and removed them still there's no luck!

OK friends problem solved indegenously!
I guess the the trojans messed up the things...So after deleting them and in endless vain,I made the setting to manual from automatic i.e name server and static ip etc, removed the cable and plugged in again...Bingo! Worked!
And then reverted back to automatic..Worked!
