Default help me,,pc taking 10 min to shut down ?


10 days ago i formatted my pc i have sify broadband ,after passing some days now pc taking 15 min to shut down or some time i have to press main switch of cpu to made to off

suggest me some tips and tricks or tweaks so it will be faster

expecting help of experts

Thanks Virus really u did great job for me ,now pc taking 1-2 min to shut down its unbelivable for me,,before typing this lines i did pc on and off for 10 times
and everytime pc taking only 1-2 min again really thanks dude for providing such nice link

on that link they have mentioned 6 possible casuses,,out of that i made changes at

1 disable Terminal Services

2 disbale Clear virtual memory pagefile

3 disable the Event Log

most welcome dood. The culprit was clearing page file, but u know always great to for other possibilites.

I think u shld use
goto 'run' and type 'shutdown -f' (f means forcefull shutdown)...

if it is also not working then u can push the switch off..
