Default what are these entries, shud i remove this? or can i?


hi,
i ran a spyware test using ms-antispyware and came across an option called "advanced tools" and went there to see this. i actually installed panda antivirus and dint seem to work good with my system and so uninstalled it however it is present in this as somne LSP entry or so... pls check this and see if they must be present or not. if not absolutely necessary, then how can i delete it? pls suggest. thks.

Since you unistalled panda, its absolutely safe to remove entries related to it.

virus, thk u... i hav removed it using "LSPfix" tool. now tel me this also... how do i remove this striked out items permanently off the services list.. even thou they r disabled.. idont want to hav them. they r mcafee and panda related services.. tehy bugged me a lot!

Typically, uninstalling software should remove the services entries from the list. Did you have any problems during the uninstallation?

Anyway, try to use registry cleaning software to search for invalid entries. They should find the missing link...

yes, i had prbs and i so deleted the remaining files and ran the registry softwares to remvoe all entries... however these 2 wudnt go off from the services list.

ace utilities or tune-up utilities 2006 or system mechanic 6 will clean up ur pc for you. not a problem. if this fails, revert, there are other tools i will suggest. in ace utilities use the 'thorough' mode for the registry scan.

i used all tools u hav recommended here already anandk... no use! it doesnt go! panda is more bugging. when i right click also, its there even when i right click, "scan with panda antivirus"!!

EDITED: reached the limit i cant take this any more. thks guys for ur help. wil be back after a fresh installation... thou i hav installed liniux.. dont know that wil go off.. anyways.. i am prepared for anything than running this sh*t! my system is f*cked up!

Reinstall the software and then uninstall them again... Should clear the entries.
