Default Flickering ! ! !


I have a XP machine ... also watch vcd`s on my machine ... bt while watching movies through my cdrom drive (DMA is also enabled), my hdd light also flikkers ...


why is that so ???

That's because the data is first read from the CD-ROM and put into buffer temporarily which is on the HDD.
Hence the HDD light also flickers when data is read even from the CD-ROM.

Also to watch movies you must be using Windows media player or any other media player.
And dude these programs are installed on your hdd.
So if the hdd shows activity then it is absolutely
normal.
So dont bother about the led and simply enjoy your movies.
