THX And dolby

I wqas watching my DVD on my home theatre and saw how the THX and Dolby Ads in the starting showed the effect of surround sound.

Is there anyway i can make a copy of this trailor in my computer so i can check it out on my 5.1 speakers connected to my system

Yeah, if you have a DVD-ROM then you can.
If you have Nero Recode then you can re-encode the file with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound and then play it on your PC.
And if you want then just copy the corresponding .vob file and play it directly.
Moreover I think that 5.1 channel soundcards have an in-built utility with their driver to check whether all the speakers are working or not!
