Quick Launch Problem
Hi All,
I have WinXpSp2. I have many items in Quick launch. The problem I am facing is the quick launch bar doenst show all the icons but hides them and shows an arrow to access them in form of menu.
What i do to access them all at a time is drag the quick launch and taskbar seperator line.
This only till the system is up. The moment it is restarted or i logoff, the quick launch menu is back to how it was. Any help wud be greatly appreciated
PS: i just tried to be more clear by using images.

Umm... after you stretch your quick launch bar, right click on taskbar and select "lock the taskbar". Hope that helps.

@virus:
Try this. In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer , create/edit the DWord "NoSaveSettings" to 0. Restart and see.
@Quiz_master:
I think the quicklaunch bar cannot be dragged out of the taskbar. What exactly do you want to do?

Ughh ... quiz_master ..
arent you the one who posted that pic above ??
you first need to uncheck the 'lock the toolbar'
it wont move without it !
I dont think it should be a registry problem ... may be you're not clicking at the right place to start dragging.

I tried doing it on my start menu and it didn't work. That's why I thought it was not possible. The problem was that I had to drag it further up into the desktop before releasing the handle. Also, remember to drag it out with the left side handle. I don't like this though as it eats extra screen real estate. To each his own I guess.

Works here! Also try dragging with the right mouse button.
