Need help choosing a Digi Cam

I have short listed two cameras Canon Powershot A620 & Sony DSC H1. Now i am unable to decide which is the better of the two. Please help me with only these two cameras no other recomendations.

Canon has 7.1mp and Sony has 5.1mp sensor but Sony has 12x optical zoom whereas Canon has 4x.
Sony costs more than Canon. I would go for Canon because I have used their digicam and they are excellent. Haven't used Sony's so no comment.

In my office we did use Sony and it never let us down with its crystal clear clarity

so which camera is the best and what would u recomend to buy. how about nikon s4.
