If you want better resolution for capturing use
1) Processor higher than 2.0 GHZ, 512 MB or more RAM
2) Use Pinnacle's video capture card
You capture in MPEG-2 (ie., DVD quality video)
3) Use the right software like Pinnacle Studio for
capturing & burning
4) You can burn directly to DVD!!

All this is possible if you are willing to spend 10, 000
to 15, 000 more!!

u dont really hav 2 spend dat much

if u find the rite PVR software it helps a lot...look in this issue of digit they did a comparison of the good ones

and if the quality is bad even after changin the software then u should consider chaning ur tv tuner card

a good internal one of pinnacle is available for around 2k...externals cost more
