Default Dvd Movie conversion to 700 MB? How?


I have seen many sites having movies for downloads of sizes of 700 Mbs. does any one know about any tools which can do that.

yes there are many tools to convert dvd movies...

the best site wich can giv u info and links to the software about this is - http://doom9.net/

You can use Nero Recode for this purpose.

Yeah I agree with q3_abhi.
Nero Recode is the best and the fastest as it says.
And with a lot of configurability!!!

well, u hav managed to ask the same question, that is asked every week, even thou ppl keep on repeationg to do a search, in a real different manner!

use Gordian Knot with Virtual dub. tuturials are available with the software package itself for both and softwares r available in the site recommended by ishaan!

well i tried with nero recode.
must agree its pretty good:does compress a movie with harldly and visual quality loss.but i cant encode the subtitles along with it.

ive tried it its not dat good

sometimes it codes one part english anuda sum other language

sometimes d vid quality dont come out rite

sometimes the interlacing doesnt happen properly

I guess the best is DVD Shrink, better than Nero Recode. I tried both and the results of DVD Shrink turned out to be much better than Nero Recode.

yea DVD Shrink is good...

i normally use DVD Decrypter to rip, then DVD2AVI, and finally TMPGEnc

i find this process to be the best cuz u hav total control over all settings n its good if ur an advanced user
