The cheapest Soln?????

I have a following config :

Celeron 1.7
256 MB DDR RAM.
SiS 650 Onboard.


Now i want the cheapest soln to upgrade my Computer so that i can play games like Quake III, NFS Most Wanted, AOE III, Ea Sports 2006 Series.

The problem is that my mobo doesnt have an AGP Slot.

all others except NFS:MW might run if u upgrade ur RAM to 512mb

but i suggest goin for complete overhall
AMD sampron 2800+ (754pin) 4k
ASrock mobo 2.5k
512 mb RAM 2.5k

thts the cheapest i can suggest

Ahem ishaan he doesnt have agp slot. Dood welcome to da club I also am stuck with the same problem. U gotta overhaul ur system as vijay said coz AGP performance cannot be paralleled to anything so save money (or if u have it then no problemo) and change mobo, proccy and ram, and also et a gfx card.

Go for an Amd processor..its cheaper than Intel..

Yes the cheapest solution would be to get a AMD sempron 64 Bit

AMD Sempron 64 2500+ - Rs 2700 (socket754)
MSI RS-482 Motherboard - Rs 4700
total - Rs 7400

the motherboard has the best onboard graphix with DirectX9 support.So u will be able to play all the games possible.
