Default Doubts related to ISO files. Help me out.

Hi,

I downloaded an ISO file. It's size of the ISO file 635MB. But only 188MB is downloaded and the download ended there.

I didn't use any download managers to download the ISO file.

I thought the ISO file will be corrupt or damaged since it has not downloaded fully.

But it opened and it extracted fully and showed the size more than 1 GB. (i.e. the 1 GB file is compressed as 635 MB ISO file)

I'm using UltraISO v7.21 SR-1

My general question is will the software be installed correctly 100%.

This is the not the first time. Many times I've seen the ISO file never gets fully downloaded, but they get fully extracted even if only 20% or 30% is downloaded of its original download size.

Is it the nature of the ISO file or any other explanation is there.

Thanx in Anticipation
Arsenal.

i feel its just that only a part of the iso file is downloaded
so the part which is downloaded i.e the files from the iso which r downloaded preperly wod get installed n others wont which is obvious
n btw y the hell do u downlaod iso files without download managers n u have sad that u have faced this prob many times
so u waste 200-300 mb download like this??
where do u live ?? US with a 400 kbps download speed??

Hi,

The iso gets extracted but the CD burnt is not proper. I suppose you used Torrent or Kazaa....
