Default any way to write encarta dvd to cds.


Is there any way to write encarta DVD on a couple of cds? suppose I have to give it to a friend who doesn't have dvd rom in his system. please help...

to my knowledge, it cannot be done directly. the simplest thing u can do is use winrar to split the files by "rar" ing the iso into multiple files with CD size minimum.. so that he can extract the same and use a virtual drive to open the iso and install them...

nowdays, y wud u wanna buy encarta or any encyclopedia cds? jus head on over to google

and what legolas suggested would be the best method i think...but it is illegal to do this unless ur jus making the one copy for yourself as backup...and also, incase u sell ur original dvd, ur gonna hafta giv the copied backup also to be on the legal side..
