Default about agp 4x &8x


i have a 1.6 ghz on a 850mv mobo with rd ram & 4x agp slot with a geforce2 400mx card. i wanted to upgrade to a geforce fx5700 or ati radeon 9800 graphic card .iwanted to know if these 8x agp cards will work propely on my mobo cos i dont to upgrade my mobo? also what wud be the price of these cards?

Yes they will work perfectly fine without any performance drops ! The Fx5700 stock version costs 7k, the 5700Ultra costs 12.9k and the 9800pro which is the best deal right now costs 14.9k.

All AGP 8x cards are backward compatible to AGP4x. You can use tour AGP8x card without any problem.
