nfs ug2 cant see the front road and my car

hey guys,the problem is that i cant see the road or the car when i play my nfs ug2.my pc config is celeron 1.7ghz,256mb ram,gigabyte rz series motherboard with VIA chipset.before i had a intel 845 motherboard on which i completed the game with 128mb ram.now just the menu shows up.sound is okay.only i cant c the front.my directx is uptodate.i even installed latest drivers available for my chipset but no use.please help.i just cant wait to play nfs again.plllllzzzzzzzzzz.

With VIA Chipset and Celeron, I doubt u will ever see the front road. Believe me, I'm telling you by my own experience, VIA Chipsets suck!!! Try getting a decent GFX card and then head for the Underground!!!

so does that mean i will b able to play NfSMW on this motherboard with a gfx graphics card.i'm thinkin of buying that game.plz help.thanx krish.

Yes, but frankly speaking, Celeron is not made for serious gaming but still with a GFX card, u will be able to play these games. I have AMD Athlon XP 2400+ win VIA chipset ASUS Mobo. NFS Underground doesn't even used to load on my machine until I got Nvidia GeForce FX. After that, the sceanario changed and I really felt the NEED FOR SPEED!!

So u will definitely be able to play these games u mentioned after upgrading.
