Default is this the right cable??


hey techiez!!
how do i find that the cat5 cable that i have is crossover or not??

i am trying NIC to NIC connection, i've checked the settings many times but there's no ping action. i think i got the wrong cable.

umm
just check the clips at the ends
are the wires connected identically ? then its not cross over
if the connection pattern is diff then it is a cross over
simple
