How many people oout there Know about Eclipse.
This is a cool IDE ffrom IBM too.It support code folding and grammar checking..It is a great help to the java lovers .It uses xml file to implement the GUI.U caan run both console and GUI programs.The IDE support listing of standerd java functions.Basicly the IDE is a set of plugiins,user can create plugins,so can increase the functionality..how is it?

I have not tried it, but have read that it is really good. I even installed it once, but before I could try it properly, I had to format the hard disk for some reason. After that I haven't installed it.

Its an IDE not only for Java. By default, Java plug-in is installed. But you can install the other plugins and make it run for C, C++, PHP, etc.

Its a very good IDE. Its runs on IBMs own JVM which makes the IDE a hellava lot faster. We have our whole application development happening on IDE. It has a lot of support thru plugins. You might also wanna try Net Beans. Its a IDE which is for java and is completely open source and has a lot of features...
