Default Salvage the deleted file?


I recently deleted a 700mb large movie file out of my hard disk...without sending to recycle bin(shift del)..accidently..
Is there any way to retrieve the file....
i have win 2000 operating system....

any chance of getting the file back???

havent restarted or shutdown the system yet...waiting for ur replies....

Use ant file recovery utility...

I don't remeber names of any now... Check it out in www.softpedia.com

There r loads of freewares and sharewares in that website...

Check out n Digit DVD's too...

u may also use tune up utilties.
and u may shutdown ur system in the meanwhile as restart should not cause any problems in recovering the deleted file , but further copying or moving file in that drive will do.

use the best software ...

stellar phoenix .. provided u havent used the comp for more than a week or 2 u generally see the file

it will be posbl to retrive/undelete the file, if it is good condition or has notbeen written upon.use any good 'file undelete' software.

systemmechanic, ace utilities, tune-up utilities are some names which come to my mind.

Try PC Inspector file recovery.It has a high success rate of recovering data.
