goto www.bootdisk.com and download any of the win98se or winme boot image. burn a cd will all the stuff and boot. or if you can get a win98/me boot floppy (if u still use floppy drive!)

you can't install dos wid windowsxp coz winxp will simply replace it!

To read NTFS partitions from dos, you need a NTFS Reader for DOS software (free)... But, to delete/modify stuff in NTFS partition from dos, you need to get paid software...

Get FreeDOS available at www.freedos.org and you can make a boot cd using freeware such as Bart's tools at http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/

well since he mentioned that he wants to run that software thru dos, i suppose he has fat32 partitions.

anyways, if you can't do that then just download Bart PE creator from:
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

create ur own rescue disk will all the utilties and run that softie thru a windows environment wid almost everything stripped. hmmm...its somthing like a gui for dos wid 32bit drivers loaded

Hey heritage_2141 welcome to forum... but it looks like you have posted a querry anywhere you felt like. U can create a new thread for all your querries (rather than creating record of bumpin an old thread)which is what this forum is meant for and tell your problem in a bit detail ... like how it started, symptoms, actions taken by you and the results thereafter. We all here might be able to help you(few here are really genius)
