how can i backup(and restore later) driver records and unlocked tracks, cars etc, i am going to reinstall my windows, and i've completed 75/111

if you are using windows xp
first go to folder options and select the option for show hidden files and folders.
then go to the following folder in your root drive
\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
copy the "nfs underground" folder from there and save it at a secure place
then after you finish reinstallig windows and "nfs underground" start the game and create just any player and exit it.
then go to the
\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
folder and delete the "nfs underground" folder and replace it with the folder we had saved earlier. this shall do the trick for you.
