Default two options


hey i had just formated the 2 of the partitions(computer) and installed windows xp...the problem is that when i start the computer there are 2 options for windows.....when i started windows and went to drive d there i found tht it had only doc&settings folder and windows folder....while the other drive had doc&settings folder and windows folder and program files folder.....i this that the drive d is curropt and want to cleane it and remove the option to select windows which comes when i start computer

is it like u r able to boot into both the options which r shown while boot up

anyways get the OS on the c drive

goto system properties>advanced>startup and recovery>settings

there u edit the boot file and remove the unwanted option

looks like u did the installation twie over, stopping one in the middle

and then u can go abt formating the d drive
