compatibility issues

Will there be compatibility issues in running a 32 bit application on a 32 bit OS (say Win XP ) which has been installed on a 64 bit processor. Please guide me about the possible solutions and also the propable applications which are likely to create problems

On an AMD?? It's compatible with 32 bit apps. Dunno abt Solaris n co.

Anway the way I see it, if the OS supports it the app, the it supports it. Period.
