Default upgrading ram - help


i am going to upgrade my ram

i have 256 two modules now.

i have asked a familiar company who told 1gb ram for 4500rs. name he said is "irvine" some think like this with 3 years warantee

is this good deal?

it is probably not a good idea to go for unbranded RAM modules as the may conk of sooner than u expect.Go for branded RAm such as those from Corsair/Kingston /Crucial/Hynix/Simmtronics.

All RAM manufacturers give lifetime warranties (the RAM's lifetime,not yours).

u just said lifetiem warantee now you are saying 3 or 5 years.. can u tell em which ram also have 3 years warantee?

Kingston/Hynix/Transcend all provide 3 year warranties.
