Default END PROGRAM PROBLEM

I am using Window XP Home Edition (with Service Pack 2). Whenever I am working with Word or Internet Explorer or Media Player and closing them one by one or separately, there comes a dialog Box named END PROGRAM that has its message with two Taps, one is for END PROGRAM and another is for CANCEL.

But when I attempt to click either the Tap “END PROGRAM or the Tap “CANCEL, the problem persist for a long time that irritates me very much and my work spoils very much.

What is the problem actually, Sir? How to rectify it? You step by step instruction will be helpful and appreciated.

Thanks

if it happens for all the programs,(all the time) then it seems to be a prob with the OS

try updating the directx first

go to run and type dxdiag
and check for errors

and upgrde to directx 9.0c

scan for spyware and viruses

if tht doesnt set it replace the OS

Hmmm....Try this. Go to Start > Run and type regedit and press Enter key. Here in the Registry Editor, navigate to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Click on the Desktop key to highlight it, then in the rightside, look for the Value named AutoEndTasks, right-click on it and set its Value to 1.
