Default Please tell me how to locate .swf files loaded from websites


Hi friednds
Can you mention where does the .swf files goes while loading from websites.
& how to search them manually, without software.

they will most prolly be in the Temporary internet Files folder under windows when using IE, for FF its in Local Settings / xxxxxxx under ur userr name in Documents and Settings ... Search using Start > Search and type in *.swf

1. In ur browser, go to View ---> Source
2. In the source displayed, search for "swf" to get the name of the Flash file.
3. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files and locate the file.

Mind u, Local Settings is a hidden folder. Go to Folder Options in CPL to view hidden files.

I use FlashSave Plugin for Maxthon to do that.

Thanx but 'source' is hidden in some cases under VIEW menu.

Then what to do?

Right Click on the main window and an option of View Source will be there in IE/FF/Opera et all..

or better in firefox right click on main widow select view page info then click media tab select what u want to save and then click save as simple!!!!

goto temperory iternet files and put the files in"arrange by size"
then go the end of the folder where obviously the large sized .swf files will be placed
