Default VEGAS 6 prob


im using vegas 6 to add effects to files made for me by videomach 2.7 coded with XviD-1.0.3-20122004

what happens is that my videomach file works fine (joining images of counterstrike recorded games)
BUT
vegas refuses to let me add these avi files ...

why is that ??

as i had read at www.moviemakers.nu , u just convert the frames(jpg files) to an uncompressed avi format using videomach(full uncompressed..., 1st option) which will take up the same space as the frames have taken, and then use it in sony vegas 6, this wil lwork, i have used this method.

but then wont my video become 2 big ..

as 6 secs of vid results in 1 gb of files ?? or does vegas compress 2 ... ??

when u use videomach, the video clips that will be made will be big, but when u add them in sony vegas, u can select the format to output the video file in, like divx, xvid, mpg, wmv...the best is wmv, the file size is min. and the quality is maintained, no visible reduction...
