Best Free Web Hosting Please...

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to find a good free web host,
I have tried a few, but am not satisfied.


So I figured out that asking at the digit forum would give me better results than Googling it or going thru a big list of free hosts.

Plz Help me.


While suggesting, plz keep in mind that, the host is/has/allows/provides,

Reliable.
BIG File size limit.
No inactivity limit.
I should be allowed to post my own ads.
FTP access.
There should be no file type restrictions.
Short and sweet sub-domain ( eg: www.me.myhost.com )


Hey, is this all possible by a free host or am I trying to
"have my cake and eat it too?"

[Edit]Although some of the links provided by Navjotsing in this thread are no longer providing free service, its still a nice collection .. Do check that out too ..

My take ... Zeeblo .. Nice service.. Dont go for Frihost .. They will *delete* your files if you dont post in their forums .. I know some of their victims .. I myself use Ecwhost which IMHO is the best hosting provider .. But they have stopped accepting new free registrants ..

Try http://mihopa.com or http://frihost.com. As for what Batty says of FH, it's no big deal posting on Frihost for sometime. And be careful of hosts who promise too much

i suggest www.janhost.com .. not many know it.. they give custom ads..

Big file size limit - 2 MB

No inactivity limit.. - no.. they have 30 days i guess

Ads allowed? - yes

FTP - yes

short subdomain? - yes (you.cv.vc or you.10e.net)

Another good one is www.orgfree.com (you.orgfree.com).. n www.frihost.net
