Formating hard drive query....
Is it neccessary to note down the email ids on yahoo, msn messneger, chikka, trillian or will it remain there even after the FORMAT

if are at a risk of forgetting them then u better notedown
if u r formatting the entire disk then nothin will
ie if u r talkin abt the browser remembering the id and pw
but if r worried tht they will vanish forever then hey they will always saty on the server side mate !!!

I cannot write down each.... There are many of them.... So do u suggest that it wont be removed even if I formatt???
I need some more confirmation from other users too....

r u formatting ur entire harddisk or a partition !!!????
if u hav a prob remembering ur many id's
then right them down or make a soft copy on the floppy or cd
wats the prob ???

If you are formatting,everything on that partition will be deleted aka not accessible
To save the id's and all,save the folder of your browser and then after the format replace the folder

A partition only.....
And the ids are more than 400 [total]........ Is there any softwre which I can use to copy them.....
