Hi Guys!!

I want to know

What is FTP?

How can I download files from FTP Servers?

assume that i have a ftp site like x.x.x.23 and you want to download a file from there. go to command and type
ftp x.x.x.23
after that you have to provide the username and password. get you file with get command.

there are lots of FTP softwares on the market like CuteFTP.

normally you can download form ftp sites through any brower

instad of http//: that is ftp//:

or you can use software such as smart ftp which is freely available

from download.com or softpedia.com

Well... for some sites that are not secure.... just try to enter thru ftp... and u have full accesss to that site!!!

Also... to get rid of the command lines... download SmartFTP....it's free for personal use... get it from download.com
