Default Outlook


Hi all,

Got MS Outlook Express 6 and when I try to export messagesI get the error " The export could bot be performed. An error occurred while initializing MAPI."

I am on limited account on XP SP2.

Help very much appreciated.

I faced the same problem a few months back.

Microsoft has the solution.

Thx junkie i have been to that site and neither of the conditions mentioned in the website satisfy. And ya since i am on limited account i dont have the previlage to change the default mail application. BTW did it help you ?

I am using the administrator account & yes that worked for me.

ME too had the same problem ... i guess you need the Admin rights to get it done......
