Here's a simple software for deleting files:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/simplefileshredder.html

To clean the (apparent)free space by zero-fill,
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/SDelete.html

I've used simplefileshredder .. it works quite well
Your files may show up in 'undelete' programs .. but they cant be recovered .. the file data is overwritten by random bytes ..
so it's quite safe that way !

See the program description. But you will have to install this program to use it.
If u don't want to install any program, you can use the second link provided. Sdelete is a cmd promt app though.

u can use....eraser...
after u install it will add an option erase to the context menu... now just erase the file u want to...

the key is overwriting... if u overwrite 3-4 times(with random data) it will become almost ompossible to recover...
there will be an option in eraser to specify how many times to overwrite.... just say 4.... and relax...
