Default cant play CD-RW in hi-fi system

i have a sony aiwa hi-fi system which can play songs from cd-r's and cd-rw. but when i write mp3's from my comp to a cd rw and try to play them in my hi-fi, the hi fi gets stuck in 'reading' mode for a long time and then it displays error. i dont have nero, so i use the windows roxio software to write cd's. could it be becase of this?
this error i get only with cd-rw, not with cd-r. so any idea how to fix this?

Try burning at the slowest supported speed. Some CDRW's may not work on hi-fi's you could try switching brands.

reading multisession rw-discs depends on player to player. My Panasonic system does not read them while my Sony music system reads them perfectly.
Yes, prefer writing multisessions with Nero at low speeds rather than using Windows' Roxio software for burning rw-discs.
